"The bar on-site, Truva, was lovely. Location is excellent. The lobby had a nostalgic noir vibe. Rooms are small but cozy. Ours had a single small window but that's just the way the hotel was built. Convenient sink outside the bathroom setup allowed one person to shower while the other could use the sink in the room."

"We went for Labor Day weekend. Resort has access its private beach access. There is also public beach access outside of property. Kid and pet friendly. Saw many families and a handful of dogs. Rooms were cleaned timely. We loved the mobile canteen on the property. Many coffee and breakfast options. Minutes from Sea World about 20 minutes from each San Diego districts. Parking available no property. If you are looking for relaxed laid back feel, this is the place."
