  • Amazing luxury retreat for that special getaway! "Better Together" is cottage number 1 in Seaside, Florida and sits directly gulf front high on the sand dune with forever views. In 1998 Seaside town founder Mr. Robert Davis desired to have several low impact cottages built and set directly gulf front. The design inspiration was from the "honeymoon cottage" that Thomas Jefferson lived in while he built Monticello.

    The cottage Better Together has just completed a gorgeous renovation. This is the the perfect Romantic Getaway Spot!

My wife and I came for a four day getaway. We truly felt blessed to be able to stay at this house. The view is breathtaking and the quick access to the beach was amazing. The house was spotless. It had the perfect amount of room and convenience for 2. We had everything we needed. The bed was also very comfortable. Our favorite part of each day was spending our mornings and evenings on the deck, overlooking the Gulf. Dean was kind and responsive. Seaside is a great spot. Even with the crowds of spring break, the house felt quiet and secluded. We were sad to leave and hope to come back again.

This was the perfect cottage for our honeymoon and it was exactly as described! We enjoyed being seconds from the beach access and all the shops of Seaside. We will definitely be back to stay in this cottage again!

We had a fantastic stay at Better Together. The cottage is very well appointed with an elevated aesthetic. The ocean view was stunning and the cottage itself was perfect. The furniture was comfortable, cozy and stylish. It was wonderful to have the dedicated parking space as well. Our host was super responsive with lots of helpful information on the front end and when there was a slight plumbing snafu he was super responsive and very kind. I hope we can make it back to better together in the future. it was a lovely stay!!!!

We had a wonderful stay at Honeymoon Cottage. The cottage is perfect for two people and is equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable week long stay. It was like living in your own little piece of paradise with the most beautiful views on one of our favorite beaches. There is plenty to do within walking distance and Seaside is such a unique & gorgeous area. Dean is a very efficient & responsive host & was available to answer any questions we had. My husband & I are already talking about going back to Honeymoon Cottage for another stay because it was so special.

My husband and I had a fantastic stay. Seaside is also our favorite place to stay. This house is in walking distances to excellence restaurants and shopping. We did not move our car the whole time we were there. Loved this place and would love to return!!

Exquisite Beachfront cottage

Beautiful well appointed beach home equipped with everything one would need to stay for a few nights or a few weeks . We were extremely impressed with how hospitable our host supplied our accommodations! Everything from the linens and robes to an amazing coffee maker - all high end appliances! Additionally, our host was quick to respond with questions about our check in and check out . We will definitely be returning and referring our friends to this property.

The owner has done a top shelf job with this property. It's perfect for two who want to spend quality time in Seaside. The cottage is spacious, immaculate and perfectly outfitted. We slept so comfortably and all the linens provided (and robes!) were high quality. The upstairs porch offers a beautiful view of the best beach in the country, with easy, close access to the beach! Walk out the door to great eating in Seaside and nearby Watercolor and Seagrove Beach, with some fun shopping too!

Fantasy Beach vacation stay

This is the perfect place to have your fantasy beach vacation! The highlight is the balcony overlooking the beach and water. The home was meticulously clean and decorated beautifully. Steps to the sand and sea, and to restaurants and shops. Once you were there, no need to drive. Owners were fast to respond and kind to communicate with…Will definitely be back! :)

Wonderful all around

I've just spent 16 days at this fantastic property. As the photos indicate the space is beautifully decorated and appointed. Communication from Dean was immediate, clear, and concise. This is one of the few oceanfront cottages that has a washer & dryer which was imperative considering my length of stay. All the appliances in the home are top notch and everything you would need for cooking is available. You can't beat being directly oceanfront; I only ventured out onto the sand twice during my stay because being on the porch was the perfect way for me to enjoy the beach. Morning coffees and evening glasses of wine were so much more enjoyable with the view and the sound of the waves. Before my trip was over I had already booked the home for an even longer stay next year.
