"Property was clean , but really dated. A remodel or refresh is in order. The breakfast buffet was less than appealing and had little to no flavor. Everything tasted like it was out of a can or bag. Yuck!"

"Really lovely hotel, beautiful facilities and very attentive staff. We particularly enjoyed the free trolley shuttle into Universal, which made things super easy. The poolside food was fantastic, great ingredients and quality and very reasonably priced. We also really enjoyed the evening movies by the pool, which felt like a lovely way to finish off a busy day. My only criticism is that the rules at the pool aren't really enforced, the over 21's hot tub regularly had teenagers in it, and the family spa which was supposed to be no under 14's without a parent, was also filled regularly by young children without any parents in sight. We also saw people sitting in the hot tub eating pizza and crisps, which is just grim. Would absolutely stay here again, and would recommend this hotel to anyone, but would be nice to see guests being more respectful of their surroundings, and more responsible for their children at the pool."

"We stayed here for a concert weekend at the Hollywood Bowl (using the LA Zoo shuttle), and it could not have been a better experience. As light sleepers, our top priority was a restful night—and the room delivered completely. The climate control was modern, ducted, and whisper-quiet, keeping the room perfectly cool without any loud cycling, buzzing, or temperature swings. The room was spotless and spacious with a very comfortable bed. Valet service was seamless and prompt using their digital text request link; our car was brought up quickly both on our way out to the show and at checkout. The location is unbeatable—an easy 10-minute drive to the Zoo shuttle lot, and just steps across the street from the Galleria and Americana for dining and shopping while waiting out the afternoon heat. Highly recommend, and we will definitely stay here again!"
