It was very convenient close to Cedar Point and all shopping centers, restaurants.. the bathroom was a little dirty but nothing major. The beds were comfy, there is not a microwave in the room, very quiet it felt safe while we stayed. Overall the place was nice. We would go back there.

Cute, comfy, but needs some maintenance

The room was cozy and well Air conditioned which was important given the heat. The bed was comfy and sheets were clean. Tbw room could use several hooks to allow for hanging clothes and towels; there wasn’t anywhere to they towels in between showers. The property itself was in need of maintenance, as we found several handfuls of broken glass, screws, bolts, cut wires and other shrapnel as we walked around. The location was a bit run down overall but you can tell the owners are trying to bring up the level of attractiveness. The baseball theme was cute.

I recently stayed at the Homefield Inn in Sandusky, and our experience was truly exceptional! The hotel features a modern sports theme that appeals to both kids and adults, highlighted by a striking mural in our room showcasing athletes in baseball, basketball, soccer, and volleyball, along with artistic elements representing local attractions. One standout feature was the inclusion of lockers in the room, complete with a locker room bench. This thoughtful addition allowed our team to store their belongings while we found it handy for resting our luggage. The self-check-in process was also remarkably efficient; we appreciated being able to check in quickly without waiting for a front desk agent, and the clear signage made it easy to navigate if we needed any assistance. We would recommend following your texts and emails to ensure the same experience. We received our room info a couple hours prior to check in time on the day of arrival which provided us with our room number and code. While there was a minor quirk with the bathroom plumbing (hot and cold controls were reverse) it was evident that the property is undergoing renovations, with staff actively working to enhance the facilities. Overall, we had a fantastic stay, and I am looking forward to staying here again for future tournament trips at the local sports centers. Homefield Inn combines modern amenities with a fun sports theme, making it an excellent choice for families and sports teams. Highly recommended!

This property was so wonderful to stay at. I am not the age of 21 just yet so I am always looking for budget freindly, yet safe, clean, and comfortable places to stay. My group of 4 loved the area, loved the updated amenities, and we appreciated how close and conveniently located it is to Sandusky’s main attraction, Cedar Point. Communication to check in, and out was seamless and staff were very friendly and helpful. I have stayed in a fair share of nice inns, and hotels, but have never gone out of my way to review one. This is my exception. 10/10 experience.

There was a blue light on the router that was way too bright at night and the bathtub tub was a little rusted which made it look dirty otherwise it was cute and convenient.
