"Just a one night getaway - The Dolphin has been beautifully refurbished by Hall & Woodhouse creating a quality, warm and welcoming environment in all areas. Breakfast was excellent though we didnt have dinner here as we regularly dine at our local H&W hostelry where the menu is the same. Our bedroom, the 'comfy' option was perfect for a short stay though the larger room option may be slightly more suitable for a lengthier stay in terms of space. Hall & Woodhouse beers are fab - who couldn't drink a well-kept Fursty Ferret or Tanglefoot?⁰"

"The rooms are always spotless and the staff are always helpful and friendly. To be fair, the rooms could do with an uplift but you can't fault them as they are. The hotel is in a great location. "

"Amazing huge room with wonderful views, really comfy bed, clean bright modern bathroom. Extremely lovely stay at The Castle overall. The staff were really friendly and helpful, the parking is right outside, and breakfast was chilled and relaxed with plenty of eating options. Can't wait to stay again!"
