"Foul weather caused our British Airlines flight to divert to the little town of Bari. We were a plane full of holiday travelers just off-loaded at 8 pm and told by BA - here is your luggage, we will leave in 12 hours, good luck finding accommodations for yourself.
Using Expedia I was able to get a room at this hotel pretty quickly. Others in flight not so lucky, hotels were booking up fast as our flight was not the only unexpected aircraft to divert to Bari.

"Die Wohnung ist groß.
5 - 6 Personen ist aber absolutes maximum.
Für Familien geeignet aber nicht für junge Leute weil die meisten Betten im Schlafzimmer sind.
Betten sind Gut.
Einrichtung ist ALT und auf den Sofas hat von uns keiner geschlafen weil wir das nicht zumutbar war.
1 Kinderzimmer ist vorhanden und das war gut.
KLIMAANLAGE KAPUTT UND DAS VON ANFANG AN!
Wir sind gestorben in der Wohnung vor Hitze!
Ventilator hat garnichts gebracht!
Ich habe diese Wohnung wegen der Klimaanlage...

"Beautiful and quiet. The chef is amazing and our dinner was delicious. The manager/waiter was not so pleasant. I think it may have been a language barrier issue as we don’t speak Italian and he doesn’t speak English and he didn’t have much patience for translating. We also found the men who checked us in were not very welcoming. For such a beautiful hotel the front desk people should be much more welcoming. "Erik and the rest of the staff were all very helpful and friendly. We felt at home and yet also felt like valued guests. Breakfast was vast and delicious. Our rooms were gorgeous and oversized. The location is convenient to see all of the beautiful historic center of Altamura. I had stayed here 20 years ago and had fond memories, I was not disappointed and hope to return much more quickly the next time!"
