Step back in time, in this beautiful cosy 14th century little house, nestled away right in the heart of the Citadel in ancient Rye.
The house in located just down an old private alley way in Church Square - opposite the beautiful old church. This is the best location in Rye.
The cobbled streets and old beamed buildings really do transport you back to another time.
The house has 2 bedrooms and a modern kitchen and bathroom in keeping with the old style.
The house is a lovely small house full of knooks and crannies' full of history.
The house is set over 3 floors - the ground floor has a lounge, with an open fire which can be used by guests, a kitchen and a bathroom (the bathroom has a WC, a sink and a shower) then up the steep stairs to the master bedroom with a double bed and chest of drawers and a little reading chair. Then to get to the second bedroom you have to go though the main bedroom and up to the third floor bedroom there is a door and stairs leading up.
The house has the following for guests:

A fridge (no freezer)
A combination cooker and microwave in one
An electric hob and extractor hood
A kettle and Toaster - there is also a boiling water tap so the kettle is not needed.
Plates and cutlery and cooking pans

There is fibre broadband at the property and a smart TV in the lounge.

In the bedroom there is a hairdryer and a small travel ironing board and an iron.
There is also a fold up table in the kitchen and 2 chairs.
There is no dishwasher or washer machine.
There is a key to the lounge window lock hanging up by the right side of the fireplace. There is overnight parking nearby and the cost is £3 for 24 hours. Please contact host for more information on parking.
PLEASE NOTE:
*PLEASE note the stairs are steep (like many of the houses in this area) but there are plenty of grip rails to make them safer.
*The house can sleep up to 4 people and please note you have to go through the master bedroom to access the second bedroom.
*There is no outside garden at the property however the church yard and the Gun Gardens are a less than a 30 seconds to 1 minute walk.
