"The hotel was new and had a fresh smell. The room was clean and well stocked. The king size bed was very comfortable and the A/C cooled the room nicely. The parking lot was almost full and due to the large amount of guests, the entry was quite dirty yet the attendant who had access to a broom didn’t seem concerned about the negative appearance this gave to the hotel. Upon arrival I used the luggage cart in the lobby and noticed that the top had been installed upside down so the portion for hanging clothes wasn’t accessible and the entire top was loose and rattled a lot. When I arrived on my floor, and entered the main hallway, I saw that the exit sign and its emergency light were hanging from the ceiling by the wires. When I returned the luggage cart to the lobby, I asked the attendant about the cart and the Exit sign and emergency light that were hanging by the wires. He said due to the low height of the ceiling in the hall, the luggage cart struck the sign and broke it loose from the ceiling but they hadn’t taken the time to fix either the cart or the exit sign. There were also 2 extra long boxes that had been delivered near the lobby entrance and also did not make a good first impression."

"Amazing house and property! The house was Big enough for our family of four and two grandparents. Grandparents stayed in the pool house and we stayed in the main house. Hot tub heats very fast and was great when it rained. Kids would warm up in hot tub and then pop back into the pool. Property grounds were spacious and private. We saw a jack rabbit and lots of turtles. The kids caught literally 20 fish (baby perch) right off the back porch dock. My husband caught a decent size bass. The house is beautiful and has everything you could think of needing for your stay. The movie room has a huge tv and couch. We had a family movie night and used the sitting room for playing card games. Will return! Price is worth it for the space, hot tub-pool, fishing, and privacy."

"I happened upon this listing out of pure luck. My son was attending a football camp over a weekend. We flew in from out of state so I just randomly chose a spot. Best decision ever! It was easy to navigate from the airport in Austin. Mostly two lane back roads and lots to see. The place is peaceful and gorgeous. The pool was definitely a hit with my family who came to visit while we were there. We had some last minute changes like an earlier than expected arrival and requested to stay an extra night because we were having so much fun! The town itself which was new for me was adorable! We found a new place to visit again in the near future!"
