"Beautiful place to stay while in the outer banks. Room was like a beautiful apartment with everything you could need. Wellness deck was beautiful with sauna, cold plunge and jacuzzi all working beautifully. Would definitely stay again if ever in the outer banks."

"It was beautiful. However, there was no vaccum so we had sand all over our floors. The broom did not help. Couldn’t clean up at the outside shower due to about 100 angry wasps! My husband killed a few wasp nests and more came. My poor dog got stung. Couldn’t sit on the decks because the wasps came up through the wood!! Never saw so many wasps in my entire life! No hot water in the guest house shower either. Ugh. So it was beautiful and clean, but the above issues were kind of annoying."

"Proximity to the beach was great, cleanliness was great and the house was pretty well maintained. Only complaint is that the kitchen was not well stocked with utensils and pots/pans. We had to buy more silverware and all the nonstick pans were not safe to use due to flaking of the nonstick coating. But not a big deal in the grand scheme of things and we had a wonderful time!"

"What a wonderful vacation we had staying at Foster Your Dreams! The house was perfect for us, as we had teenage girls that stayed in the bunk room and everyone else shared the king suites. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub, cornhole boards, pool table, and all the decks. Our wonderful host was so easy to communicate with. She always answered right away and was friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again!"

"We had a wonderful family vacation with our daughter and son, their spouses, and all 8 of our grandchildren!! The location was perfect, a direct path to the beach and just a little over a mile from our daughter’s campsite. The home was very clean, tastefully decorated, and designed for a large family, offering space and privacy. Some cushioned furniture would be a nice addition to the fabulous beach view on the top deck! There has already been talk of a return trip!!!"

"We were very happy with the home overall. We did have issues with the upstairs bedroom toilet not flushing. The dishes, pots and pans, and utensils were sparse. We literally only had 3 forks in the house. Air conditioner worked great, loved the pool. Had a nice time, loved the access to the beach."

"Great location and for driving up or down the OBX. Within close walking distance is basic grocery items, two food trucks and cafe inside the gas station/grocery. You can drive a 2.0 mile stretch to find other locations to eat, shop, grocery, arcade-golf, & rent water vehicles.Log fires on the beach are allowed w/free permit gotten down the street.House is as described but also included 1 beach umbrella & lots of board type games we did not expect to get. The included water items from their partnering outside agency were of great use! Well needed items; beach umbrellas and the sand anchors to hold them down, bogie boards and THE CART!3 negatives were not huge. I am an Airbnb owner, so maybe a little more expectant:- There was no "starter kit" of basics. Meaning that after the visible items were used there were no extra items: toilet paper, paper towel, trash bags, I think we had one kitchen dish scrubber but no dish soap. I am used to suppling some extras, & I am used to getting some extras we I rent. Not even 3.00 salt and pepper shakers.- Pans were not great and just shoved in the corner cabinet with the lids scattered. Even back to where you cannot reach them.- Grill dirty with no protection cover. We did not use it.I did get reimbursed for the price to exchange a gas tank. Both tanks were empty and needed for a boil.Overall, I would go back. You will enjoy it, I would recommend this unit for its location, comfort, communication & as advertised!....."

"The house was very clean and in very good condition. Access to the beach was close and easy to access. There were very few people on the beach, which was a nice aspect.Concerning towels, one bath towel and only one wash cloth was provided for each person. The quantity of wash cloths was insufficient so we bought some to last the week. Also, the bed pillows were small and flat. Two people in our group bought new pillows to use instead of the house suppliedpillows. The owner/host could improve on these items."
