c'est censé être une iles barefoot malheureusement c'est un mélange sable et coraux pilé mieux vaut avoir de bonne chaussure sur et dans l'eau car ici a par la marche dans 30 cm d'eau et le barbotage y'a pas beaucoup d'activité car avec la marée tous le monde cherche désespérément de la profondeur/activité attention tous et payant et cher sur l'iles (je vous déconseille le bar, cocktail cher av que de la flotte sans le gout de l'alcool) mon astuce faire tous les jours le matin si vous êtes bon nageur comme moi sur 2 km vous partez du ponton droit devant le chenal vous longez AD ou AG les coraux patate, cerveau 4 sortes de requins, gris de récif, dormeur, nourrice, pointe noir 3 sortes de raie, blanche, pastenagues..,tortue et si vous avez de la chance comme moi le dernier jour j'ai pu nager avec 50 dauphins sauvages a 2 km au fond du chenal et les sorties l'après-midi 25mn de snorkeling gratuite chaque jour au moins ça vous occupera car l'iles et assez ennuyeuse je vous en dit pas plus je vous laisse la surprise :))) !!!

Ottimo rapporto qualita’/prezzo. Isola magnifica con una laguna incredibile da vero paradiso tropicale. Ottima la location del ristorante, direttamente sull’acqua. Rihiveli non e’l’ideale per gli amanti dello snorkeling perche’non dispone di una barriera facilmente raggiungibile, ma giornalmente sono comunque organizzate uscite in barca ( incluse nella tariffa del soggiorno ) con il diving locale. Sono inoltre a disposizione paddle, windsurf e canoe, da utilizzare liberamente per un’ora al giorno. Nel complesso il resort e’assolutamente molto valido!

The property was lovely. Enjoyed the fact that it was detached. The only minor thing was the noise of the mini-bar fridge and an air conditioning unit for next door attached to our bungalow.

Authentic experience...

I recently stayed at Rihiveli the dream and there were some really great things about it that I’m sure would be appealing for some. One of the things that I really appreciated were the inclusive activities such as snorkeling, kayaking, sailing, kite surfing and wind surfing. This is a good place to go if your desire is to be out enjoying nature without spending a lot of extra money. This isn’t a good place to go it you are looking for the five star, (4 star, 3 star or 2 star) luxury resort experience and the amenities that come with it, like air conditioning or bugs in your room. Some of the issues with this place could quite easily be fixed. One that really stood out was the experience of the bar. When drinks are ordered they are not made in front of you. They could also become a little more creative with the between meal snack options instead of just offering two kinds of Pringle’s or a small bag of M&M’s. It would also serve them well and their customers to install AC in some or all of their rooms and with it the ability to keep the bugs and critters out instead of being fully open to the outside with only some wide lattice separating you from the outside elements. This would at least give the choice to the more rustic customers to turn the AC off and open doors and windows if they prefer that experience. This resort has been around for 36 years and it really shows, it doesn’t appear that anything has been updated along the way.

Terza volta a Rihiveli e ancora una volta una esperienza fantastica! La gestione attuale, "Rihiveli The Dream", è altamente professionale, è riuscita valorizzare questo paradiso rispettando le bellezze naturali e creando un'atmosfera accogliente e rilassante . La laguna in cui si trova l'isola è tra le più belle delle Maldive, per la ricchezza dei fondali, per gli innumerevoli e bellissimi pesci da ammirare nelle acque attorno al ristorante o al diving center (tartarughe marine, razze, squalotti, murene, aragoste, pesci balestra, trombetta, e tanti altri), per la colonia di delfini che stazionano a meno di cento metri dalla riva, per le due isolette disabitate raggiungibili a piedi. Il numero di ospiti permette di godersi l'isola senza sensazione di affollamento, i bungalow sono semplici ma molto comodi e spaziosi, non hanno aria condizionata ma pale al soffitto che rinfrescano a sufficienza. Il ristorante, che si affaccia sul lato Est per godersi il sorgere del sole mentre si fa colazione, non ha pareti per sentirsi ancora più parte della natura circostante, ha una zona aperta al centro, che si affaccia su un quadrato di mare da dove passano tartarughe, murene, aragoste, pesci etc. Il bar si affaccia sul lato Ovest dell'isola, anche questo molto naturale e senza pareti, per godersi i fantastici tramonti. Il tutto è fruibile senza sorprese, è un "tutto incluso" reale, con attività, attrezzature, e acqua da bere (non banale) a disposizione. Personale e servizio eccellenti!

Ile paradisiaque avec une multitude d'activités. Les sorties snorkeling gratuites en bateau sont très chouettes. Resto buffet impec et varié. L'équipe de direction française est top. Quelques rénovations nécessaires au niveau bungalows mais on oublie vite les défauts lorsqu'on profite de cette île.

We felt that we were at home Staff super kind and professional The place is unique, super safe We enjoy all the amenities and mostly the water sport activities ( included in the price) One word “One of a kind !!!!!”

This was our first trip to Maldives. The Island (actually 3 Islands) is amazing! There is nothing more to dream about when it comes to a beach and the sea, it is not overcrowded and very clean. Drinking water is free. The food quality was also very good. Sometimes they organize a dinner party on a beach, which is also astounding. Maldivian staff is amazing - very friendly and always willing to help Also you can take kayak/paddle for free and that is a wonderful experience! There are some things that in our opinion are lacking of excellence: 1. The Bar: The cocktails are made not in front of you!! They are brought from somewhere, so basically you do not see what kind of liquors they put in there, the quality of cocktails was also variable. For example on a first day we ordered two caiparinha. What we have got is two glasses filled with ~ 50-70 ml + a lot of ice and lime and a tea spoon inside. It was basically 20 ml of alcohol in it and It did not taste like caiparinha at all, so for 25 bucks (for two cocktails) it was a bit of disappointment. We tried Pina Colada - it was also nothing special, the colour was yellow , did not taste like a good quality cocktail. So the bar disappointed. They had a decent selection of wines however. 2. 3 Social Classes and main language of the Island: The island is owned by a group of french people, who have their own understanding of how a resort island must look like. Unfortunately on the island we felt a little bit like "just regular guests

Wir hatten ein Standard-Bungalow und diese sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Sind zweckmässig eingerichtet aber dafür haben praktisch alle Meersicht bzw. man ist schnell im Meer. Den Deckenventilator muss man bei den gut 30 C die ganze Nacht laufenlassen, macht halt etwas Lärm - für uns aber kein Problem. Dafür hat man immer kühles Wasser im Zimmer.

Es wird bewusst auf Plastic verzichtet und Muell getrennt. Die Insel ist noch fast wie vor 30 Jahren eingerichtet und wirkt sehr urspruenglich. Keine zusaetzlichen Kosten ausser Alkohol und Flaschentauchen. Und fuer die die es interessiert, ich habe keine Russen und Chinesen auf der Insel getroffen.

Rihiveli is the most enchanting place on earth. Everything is just perfect, from the location to service. The resort is set on a tiny island in the middle of a turquoise lagoon, stretching to two deserted islands reachable on foot or with kayaks. Lots of activities are included in the full board package. Food is top notch. I can’tecommend jt enough

Ile paradisiaque

Merveilleux séjour dans un lieu paradisiaque avec une équipe de français passionnés et des maldiviens adorables. Les bungalows sont parfaits, la nourriture plus qu'excellente. Nous avons apprécié la mise à disposition des kayaks, paddles, les sorties en snorkelling. C'est un endroit magique qu'il faut choisir. Tout est fait pour y passer un séjour inoubliable. On s'y réjouit d'avoir fait cet excellent choix. De notre arrivée sur le ponton au départ, ce ne fut qu'enchantement.

Isola incredibilmente bella, adiacente a due fantastiche isolette deserte, di cui una raggiungibile a piedi camminando nell'acqua, bungalow confortevoli ma un po' spartani, senza TV e Wi-fi, ristorante eccellente, non lontana da Malè (60 min. in barca) con punti di immersione notevoli ad un massimo di 45 min. di navigazione
