The pretty village of Reeth is less than 4 miles away with its village green, tearooms, galleries and traditional pubs. Spend a day in the historic Richmond (15 miles) where you can browse the independent shops, take a riverside walk and visit the impressive Norman Richmond Castle. Other places to visit nearby include the dramatic waterfalls of Aysgarth Falls (13 miles), the flower filled meadows of Muker (5 miles), the ruins of Bolton Castle (10 miles) and the charming village of Hawes (14 miles) where you can visit the Wensleydale Creamery or Dales Countryside Museum.


All on one level and full of character, this wonderful cottage features exposed beams throughout and has a warm, welcoming feel. You enter into the cosy lounge, where a wood burner creates the perfect spot to relax after a day exploring the Dales. To the right is the first double bedroom, enjoying stunning, far reaching views over the rolling countryside. Following the layout round to the left, you’ll find the second double bedroom, and then the bright and airy kitchen/diner, ideal for family meals and sociable evenings, with lovely views over the fields to the rear. Completing the interior is the well appointed bathroom, featuring a luxurious jacuzzi bath and a separate shower.


Outside, there is a delightful enclosed patio garden with colourful flowers and seating. With outstanding views over the Yorkshire Dales, it’s the perfect spot to sit back, relax and soak up the peaceful surroundings.
