Stableside at York Racecourse
10/10 Excellent
"Fantastic stay. Breakfast is amazing and all staff were a delight. Great location. Bus directly from York Central to the hotel takes about ten minutes and even less in a taxi. Really reasonable price and comfy beds. Very clean room and ensuite. We will stay again next time in York."
The Queens Hotel & Victoria Cloisters

"It’s a nice hotel. It’s a great location. It’s not brand new but it has character. It has everything you need for a short/long weekend. I would say the breakfast is fine it has everything the size of that budget would need but less fried toast and mushrooms. Bit of black pudding or haggis"

Malmaison York

"Lovely huge room and very comfortable bed. Breakfast was a bit of a shambles as it was so busy. The staff were showing the stress and when we were taken to our table the cutlery was chucked on a a dirty table. Had to wait 30 minutes to order and then another 15 minutes for the food to arrive. The saving grace was that the food was excellent and piping hot."
