"Très bel endroit proche de la mer. La maison est très bien. Seul bémol, il y a des animaux dans les murs de la chambre qui font du bruit la nuit. Pour les dormeurs sensibles, il faut des bouchons dans les oreilles pour ne pas entendre les bruits. On ne sait pas quels sont les animaux dans le mur (lézard, chauffe-souris ???) on comprend qu'au Costa Rica, il y a des animaux et que ce n'est pas simple d'empêcher ceux-ci de faire leur nid ! Mais ce serait super d'empêcher ceux-ci de loger avec nous!...

"Host was very responsive. Waze and Maps took us on a long rocky road to get there. Host provided Better directions after we arrived. Very plain Jane. Could have used instructions for shower hot water, propane stove, and washing machine. Also wished for a couple of comfortable patio chairs. Hammocks were nice."

"This place was great. Extremely close to the cloud forest reserve. The property manager went above and beyond. We got a home made breakfast brought to us every morning that was delicious. She arranged adventures for us to partake in nearby and followed up when a shuttle didn't arrive as previously scheduled. We had a wonderful experience at this property and highly recommend booking with Christina and supporting a Costa Rican if you are visiting Monteverde!!! You won't be disappointed."

"VRBO search led us to this spectacular-view property. Listed tips: ---*extremely* glad we had a 4WD vehicle, lots of unpaved/hole- and trench-laden roads. ---Specific arrival directions were not sent until our arrival day, so access was limited while traveling; we found them after arrival. ---Montezuma itself is a very small town with a few restaurants, Mini-supers and B&B/hostels, mostly surfers and some locals; we would hesitate to drive in there after dark (which happens at around 6:00 pm)...
