"Cleanliness was tops. Distance to Heathrow and ease of shuttle to the airport were great, but we expected it to be free. When we called to book, and ask about a shuttle, we found out it was available, but no one mentioned a per person fee....we had spent all our pounds so we wouldn't take any home to the states, and the driver didn't have change for a 20pound note, so we had to use a debit card. Minor annoyance, but..."

"Room was very nice and staff friendly and helpful. Food service was good, there was a few items not available from the menu but we were a the last end on service. Food we had was OK , traditional gastro food. I would stay here again. "

"The rooms could really benefit from some decent double glazing to cut out the traffic noise from the busy road and could you actually get some sleep. The menu could be much improved as all that was on offer was junk food."

"This is a welcoming local inn with good rooms and a lovely garden area. We ate here in the evening and also had a cooked breakfast the next morning. Both meals were well cooked and reasonably priced. This was our second stay here and we will visit again when in the area."

"Very happy to recommend The Fox. The room was clean comfortable and very nicely furnished. The evening meal was very good match by great service from George the waiter. Breakfast was okay. Scarlett was outstanding, welcoming, efficient and friendly. My one issue was the temperature of the room as the accommodations heating hadn't been switched on despite the colder weather. I was offered additional blankets by Scarlet who did her best to help."

"Very disappointed with the breakfast. Cooked breakfast did not include baked beans. The bacon and sausages were undercooked. They could not provide any non-dairy milk or "butter" at all (for cereals, tea and toast). Also, no non-dairy yoghurts provided. Very expensive for what we did actually have."
