"Lovely stay in a very convenient location. I arrived by plane and took a direct train to Gare du Nord, followed by a short 12 minute walk to the hotel. "It is the absolute best, unless you can afford the Ritz. Excellent location, close to Notre Dame, the Louvre, high end and more affordable budget shopping. Across the street, an excellent boulangerie to grab breakfast, multiple dinning options close by. Water and ice machines in every floor perfect after you have been walking in the sun all day long. Big comfortable rooms and bathrooms."

"We stayed in room 702. Top floor with a beautiful view of the Eiffel Tower. Which was a nice surprise because the room we booked was a Superior Room with Spa access had no mentioning of the tower view. Great staff, very helpful. Clean room. Amazing spacious shower. There were a few things i wish were better tho. We were in Paris during a crazy heat wave. Some days temperature outside was 33-35C. The AC in the room didnt work well. It was set at 19 C the lowest possible the entire stay of 3 nights but couldnt get it below 25C. There was no fridge. Which again during the heat wave would have been helpful. We dont like to change rooms once we settle in or have anyone come fix things when we’re out of the room so we didnt bother complaining but we metnioned to the concierge at the time of checkoit. Lasty, the toilet was small for a fat american like myself. Other than those small things it’s an incredible hotel perfectly situated with easy access to anything."

"The only positive was that the desk agent helped us carry bags up 4 flights of stairs because there is no lift. The entire place was dirty, the shower in the room had someone else’s hair in it still Signs of bed bugs Shelf was hanging off the wall. There were syringes and medical waste on the window ledge outside the room. The shared toilet didn’t flush properly so it wasn’t clean. I’ve seen better conditions in documentaries about labour camps. This place should be avoided. We left and booked another hotel somewhere else and the hotel refused to refund. Their business model is very much based on leveraging non refundable rates. Book if you have a good credit card company that you can dispute the charge through. Travelocity support couldn’t help either. Lesson learned."
