"Stunning location and a beautiful home. The beach was perfect for long walks at low tide and swimming at high tide. The house was tastefully decorated, very clean, and had everything we needed for a wonderful stay.Our biggest disappointment was the late 5:00 p.m. check-in. When you’re paying for a full day, arriving that late really cuts into your time. Most VRBOs we’ve stayed at over the years have had a 2:00 p.m. check-in. Christine was lovely to deal with and kindly accommodated us an hour early, allowing us to check in at 4:00 p.m., which we appreciated. Even so, by the time you unpack and make supper, the evening is nearly over, so it feels like you only get about a day and a half to enjoy the property.The only other downside was the beds. All of us agreed that upgrading to comfortable pillow-top mattresses would make this an easy 5/5 experience and it would have been nice to have the beach stairs available to use. Despite those three issues, we would absolutely come back for the location alone—it’s truly stunning. One last tip for future guests: bring plenty of bug spray!"
