There is a wide choice of both sweet and savoury food at breakfast and fresh fruit plus a homemade cake every morning. Franco concocts a delicious array of cocktails at the bar at only 6 euros each! "We circumnavigated Sicily in 10 days and stayed in 6 different towns. Siracusa was our last sightseeing stop. We chose to stay in Floridia to give easy access to the Catania airport for an early flight. Of all our lodging spots, B&B Mediterraneo was the least prepared for our arrival and provided the lowest level of service. It is actually a suite of rooms on the 3rd floor of an apartment building. "So it was hard To check in because the address on the website is 14, but access to the B&B is through 16. The numbers listed on the front of #14 are non functioning. It was really hard to check in and until the host answered the message through the website we were not able to check in. The rooms were clean and comfortable, although no blankets were provided and it was very cold in the room. Stayed 2 nights, the host was very nice and breakfast was great!!!"
