"Clean room. The floor we were on had updated carpet in the hallway, fresh paint in the rooms, new fake wood floors in the room. It felt very clean."

"Difficult to find the property until we realized it exists inside of another hotel ~ make street-side signage please. The front desk was great, the room nice, but the NOISE and ruckusness of this hotel was terrible. We had a connecting room door, and literally, the guests next door, a crowd of them, were up all night partying. They could have literally been at the foot of our bed. They finally went to sleep or left the room, we are not sure which, at 5:15 am. Exhausted from an all-day graduation event. Never stay there again."

"Everything was expensive. No daily maid service. Casino was quiet. In no hurry to go back. No happy hour. They just want to take your money, bare bones all the way"

"It needs to be said that Showboat is not a casino resort anymore, but much more geared towards families. Which is great, but if you are looking to stay in a casino resort, this is not the one for you. We upgraded to a ocean view King suite, and the room was great, but not perfect. There were some damages, and the shower looks great and the water pressure is great, it is not practical allowing for flooding of the bathroom floor. The tub is amazing, the mattress was top notch, and the views were breathtaking. Also, the TVs are unlocked to bring your Chromecast or fire stick, which is always a plus. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Overall, we had a great stay."
