"The rooms in the zoologie wing were massive as they were in the old historical building. It had bare brick walls, tall ceilings and large windows. The toilet had a quirky cistern and even though the shower room was a huge glass cubicle it didn't take up any unnecessary space. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpful. The bar area was large due to being in the same wing as our bedroom. Lots of light flooded the room. It had comfy colourful furniture which we used whilst waiting for our room to be ready. The location was close to the train station but not too far to the sightseeing areas of Bordeaux. "

"The staff were great - spoke English as well as French. The room was as advertised. Did not buy breakfast. Great location. Close to all transportation, the river, many monuments at the gate st Jean. The hotel lent out umbrellas which was great. Thank you for a pleasant stay."

"Close to tram so very convenient. Rooms are small but manageable. We asked for an alternative as queen bed was against the wall on one side. Hotel staff were very accommodating in providing an alternative room. Thank you!!"
