"Wonderful hotel in the heart of Montepulchiano. Hotel staff treated us like family. Arrival instructions were clear and easy to manage. Appreciated the parking, even tho it was shortly off-site. Our room was spacious and well equipped. We particularly enjoyed the balcony/view and the rooftop patio, where we enjoyed the bottle of wine we picked up at the little winery tasting room just across the ally from our hotel entrance. The 10 euro breakfast was lovely. Our only small complaint was the air...

Hotel is up around the middle of the town, well located to go up or down and near everything! "The property was exactly as described. The building is old but the bathroom was brand new and lovely and the views were fantastic. The little bar and restaurant are great for views and drinks. Finding the car park and coordinating that was harder than expected. it was hard to reach anyone prior to arrival. After arrival however, the young woman who checked us in was very helpful and lovely and went above and beyond to resolve the parking issue."

"This property was in a beautiful location just outside of the town of Montepulciano. The room was perfect for us and our 15yrs daughter, including air conditioning (thank goodness as we had a major heatwave 40+ degrees!). The pool was also beautiful and refreshing, with large umbrellas, and a great view of town! We chose to include breakfast which was also wonderful. The young man at the front desk offered excellent suggestions for dinner in town."

"This property is quintessential Tuscany. Set in gorgeous rolling hills, looking over vineyards and stunning sunsets. There is AC (helpful with a heat wave!) and a lively pool. We opted to have breakfast included and the cappuccino was the best we enjoyed during our time in Italy. Dinner on site was also wonderful, and with lots of local wines to choose from. Highly recommend this property! My husband and I were travelling with our 15years daughter."

"La Chiusa is beautiful, staff are very nice and the location fantastic; views from the property and situated next to Montifollonico with access to grocery store, pharmacy and super local restaurant (13 Gobbi). Rooms had a fridge but no kettle, coffee maker or even cups or glasses which was odd and would make a big positive difference so that you can make a hot drink or sip your own wine while enjoying the view! If you’re a foodie you will love the onsite restaurant, but it is a limited menu so...
