One super kind lady at front desk with light hair helped us,... she called around until she could get us one.. then reserved it for us 2 days out. That was really the only issue... "The best experience staying within the walls! Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Filled with so much charm. Breakfast was perfect. We rented a car and were given permission to drive into the town to get our bags into the room. Parking was easy to find outside the walls and the walk back to the room was 5-8 minutes."

We also used the hotel’s covered parking garage space, which was easy and very convenient and removed any stress of finding parking on arrival (but book with the hotel in advance as spaces are limited). Overall a fantastic stay and we would definitely return, thank you!"

"The facilities are well maintained. The beds are comfortable and the setting in the Tuscan countryside is wonderful. Very peaceful and serine. The pool is clean and refreshing. The location is perfect, being just far enough away from the daily crowds in the town of San Gimignano, but close enough to visit before 10 AM and after dusk. The included daily breakfast was a perfect start to our day! Lots of fresh fruit, juice, yogurts, granolas, breads and cold cuts. And, of course, the espresso machine! The property is family owned and operated (they live on-site) and are there to see that your every need is attended to. The on-site restaurant is also family owned and operated, with a nice variety of entrees at reasonable prices. A good wine selection, too! The only cons are: - The parking is problematic (as it is everywhere in Italy) with limited spaces on property and an 'overflow' area in a vineyard across the highway. - The A/C is controlled by the management... So they decide if it is available, which, in our case, it was not, and that made for some uncomfortable nights as the only fresh air to the room was via the balcony doors which are unscreened."

"If you are going to San Gimignano for the first time, this is a must place to stay. The hosts greet you when you get there and are on site all day. They knew the town, the places to see and recommended all the right places. They certainly didn’t cause the transportation strike but they solved it for us. Bianca and Marzia, we thank you.Our room was home for 4 nights and was rustically charming. The courtyard out the front door was a nice place to spend time winding down and meeting wonderful new people. The Palazzo BUONACCORSI was the perfect location to manage getting in and out of the city as well as a short walk to restaurants, bars and the town centre. Parking was free and easier than you would expect for a walled city.If you have been to San Gimignano, well, you probably already know how much fun this place is."
