"Basic room, older property but clean. Best thing was the breakfast - options for pancakes, waffles, toast, bagels, cereal, eggs, sausages/bacon - and the lovely gentleman ensuring there was enough for everybody."

"Access to the property was excellent. It has a large sign on the main road and well-lit at night. The unit itself had ample parking out front and there were fresh linens and a few toiletry items in the bathrooms. One of the interior lights in the bedroom did not work, but most likely none of the previous guests brought it up (I haven't yet either). Also, if you are returning late at night, there is no motion/path lighting if your front door is towards the back of your unit. Some units have doors facing the access road which is probably a non-issue. We waited for a min or so leaving the car so our eyes could adjust before we proceeded."

"We enjoyed our weekend at Carines cabin! The cabin and outhouse were very clean and honestly had everything you needed. It was quiet and relaxing. Listening to the river while hanging out or falling asleep was very nice. We went down to the river a few times but it is quite steep though manageable! Even though the main house is near by, we were very comfortable and had tons of privacy! I’d definitely recommend! Activity wise, Brooks falls is very close and a lovely little hike! Clear lake was also close by and very nice. For anyone wanting a minimalist little get away to unwind, I’d totally recommend!!"
