The Queens Hotel

"The room itself was nice with a lovely view of the sea and we really liked having the windows open, taking advantage of the sea breeze. The bathroom was huge, but tired and there was mould around the sealant.and also in some of the grout.The floor could also do with being replaced. Some nice tiles would change the floor completely. Breakfast was fabulous"

The Mustard Tree

"We had a good welcome by Mark on our arrival who took time to tell us about the area and transport. The room was comfortable and clean and had a fridge with fresh water and milk everyday. Very good choice of breakfast, cooked and presented well. There is also private parking on the grounds. The Mustard tree is located within walking distance for the train station and also a beautiful walk along coast to St. Ives. Also there are plenty of beaches in the local area."

"The only thing I didn’t like was the stale, musty smell coming from the sofa and armchair, which spread throughout the entire bungalow. Otherwise , close to beach, accesible parking 5m away from the bungalow, And everyting tou need in the kitchen if you'd like to cook something."

The St Ives Bay Hotel

"The staff were so incredibly helpful and kind and we ended up being able to park in the hotel parking lot, which was a nice surprise. The room definitely needed to be updated and didn’t match the photos (we had a huge shag carpet in our room over the original rug which was clearly used to cover a big stain but honestly really kind of gross). I wouldn’t say our room was all that clean but the bedding was spotless and the bed itself was comfortable. Location was fantastic, right across from the beach and a short walk to restaurants and shops. Breakfast was standard (coffee was bad). Again, can’t state enough how friendly and helpful the staff were."
