"The staff is so friendly and made my birthday celebration happier. They were very helpful in adjusting our different check-in schedules and providing us with useful information, mainly regarding public transport. The breakfast was good, but it was the same everyday. So I’d be happier to see more fruits. Their Spa area is wonderful and private, providing us to start the birthday celebration sooner."

"I chose Vila Sendak because the hotels.com profile said it had a lift - not so. The only staff member I saw at all during my stay was after my 1st night, around 2pm when she was leaving for the day. I saw the swimming pool outside my window but didn’t see evidence of any other of the advertised amenities. My bathroom sink had a major plumbing problem - it leaked from the bottom of the pedestal, leaking the floor wet in the time it took for the water to run hot."

"Location of hotel is great*. Staff was wonderful. Room was a good size for 1, probably also comfortable for 2. Black out drapes worked well. Bed was a little firmer than I would like but that's just my preference, nothing was wrong with it. Shower had decent water pressure. The hair dryer provided was pretty weak though. Rules in the welcome book says no food delivery allowed but the hotel is surrounded by restaurants so that wasn't a big problem. *My only complaint isn't really the hotel's fault. I happened to stay there during the expo so from 8am-11pm there were voices, music and bass coming from many speakers which was quite loud inside the room even with all the windows closed! You couldn't escape the noise. "

"Overall not a great stay and will not revisit. no hot water - you only get warm water in the shower . impossible to enter the shower cubicles. room not cleaned daily. There are no curtains to stop outside light so you get woken at dawn. . no temperature control in room. breakfast was hit and miss. all in all disappointing."
