No cars, trains, highways, barges, factories. Maybe a few air plains. But the peace and quiet was something I’ve never experienced…. And I’ll never forget. The elk in Boxley were so near to see every nightThe hikes and outer roads are all beautiful! - The Glory Hole and The Lost Valley were our favorite hikes!! We will be back sometime to float the Buffalo River….and to finish a book I started in the cabin. "

"If you are looking for a clean cabin with serene scenery then this is the one. We visited to get away from the city and have a quiet Christmas. My husband, daughter, and our 3 dogs had a great time. We sat by the fire and relaxed most of our 3 nights we stayed. They do have lady bugs in the cabin, but they are maily in the upstairs area. This is something doesnt bother us as we understand when staying in the mountains. We immensely appreciate the host for accomodating our pets. That means the world to us."

"Great cabin and location. We loved the deck and outdoor space as well as the views. Centrally located to many hiking trails. Loved that the owners provided wood for their outdoor firepit. Watch your head when you are going under the roof on the front entrance, lol."

"This was a wonderful, well-appointed cabin for our four adults. Having one King bedroom and bath on the main level worked great for the older couple, and the two younger adult singles had their own King bedrooms and shared bath upstairs (with a separate thermostat!). The property is easily accessible (no steep drives) and just 5 miles from Jasper."
