The property was wonderful, if I were to stay again I would certainly ask the temperature of the pool. I did not want to pay to heat if it were a temperature that was acceptable to our family. I should have paid to have it heated! We also cooked quite a bit, and the kitchen was not stocked well at all with silverware and glasses, that was disappointing! The space was great, it could a fresh coat of paint on the inside and a new front door finish!

The house was super clean and much bigger than anticipated. It was a lovely home. The one downside was that the pool was dirty. There were a ton of leaves and debris in the pool (which is normal with winds) but the pool skimmer was broken so we couldn’t clean it out. O

Won't be back!

We have stayed at several properties in Palm Springs and had a wonderful experience. This property was not one of them. Starting with a peeling front door and a hole that looks like it was patched by a blind monkey. Then the pool looked green & not very clean. We didn't realize that we had to request the pool be warmed BEFORE we arrived. When I contacted Vacasa (4 times)"property management" they would NOT work with us to warm it up. They stated that it takes at least 48 hours. When I asked about the spa being heated it was the same answer. I told them spa's do not take 48 hours to heat.They would not budge on their policy, so we had a freezing cold pool. It was also super windy, so it felt even colder getting out of the water.Some of the outdoor furniture was broken. There are no pool floats, however, there were some pool noodles. Had very disappointed kiddos!!

Perfect First Palm Springs Stay

My wife and I stayed 5 nights in April, and our son, his wife and son were able to join us for two days and two nights. Everyone enjoyed the pool and the convenient location. It's in a quiet neighborhood but within 10 minutes of all the popular restaurants and shops.

Sketchy pool useage clause

Ok first of all this house doesn’t have a single dresser in it. Am I supposed to hand my socks and underwear in the closet? Also the pool heater clause is RIDICULOUS. 90 a day. Of course anyone who books the property is going to want to use the pool so why is it tiny writing that is easy to miss that you need to let them know if you want the pool and hot tub heated. Why isn’t it part of the checkin process when they call you and email you to sign the city ordinance to verify if you want to use the pool? And of course once you check in it’s too late to have it turned on and it’s nearly impossible to get ahold of someone if you have a problem. We had really sad kids :(

Palm Springs house

Good size for family of four. Good location. Wish it wasn't so expensive to heat the pool and it was too cold to use. Check in was a little confusing with cars and such, but overall, it was good stay. Would recommend.

Great pool, terrible communication

The house is cute and clean and the pool stellar. However, i y extra for heat and it took me 5 calls and over 24 hrs to get it turned on. I have rented through VRBO for over a decade and never gad this kind of issue. Also there were maintenance visits constantly happening which we not informed about and were disruptive to our privacy.

This is a pretty nice house. Unfortunately, it is right on the flight path for the Palm Springs airport, consequently was very noisy, starting from the first flight at 6 AM. When the wind changes, we were then treated to the planes coming in, which seemed a little noisier than the take offs. The house is nicely appointed. Nothing fancy, but everything worked. Because of the windy, cold weather, we didn't use the pool or the backyard. And, single ply toilet paper - really? You charge that much and give your guests, hard, uncomfortable single ply? Cheapness is not cute.

Will stay again!

The house was amazing, super spacious, clean, with plenty of extra towels. No bugs anywhere. Kitchen was set up with all your needs, including (I guess, what others left behind) like coffee, tea, sugar, salt. Might need to get cooking oil/spray. I read many rewies about luck of communication with the host. Your communication should be through Vacasa, not the host (as most used to). I had absolutely nothing bad to say. Vacasa emailed all the information & they follow up, I was able to contact them via email, phone & text and always got a reply. I paid for the pool and it was not heated on the first day. I contacted Vacasa, within 30m someone came by, had it fixed and we had pool at 86F heated. Lovely pool! I would definitely stay here again. Location is perfect! 10m to the airport and 10m to the downtown. Ralphs (like Safeway) is also 10m drive. Bring good hand moisturizer, the water will dry your skin. We were even able to do a late check out for small cost. My only suggestion is to fix the lock on the master bedroom door so it can lock and the restroom door in the master.

Pool and hot tub and grill are broken

Paid 375 to get heat for pool spa it was not done every day pool would leak dry and again came out and filled but did not attempt to fix. Was told would at least get refund of those dollars but I keep get pushed around by Vacasa . Make sure the things are fixed if you consider this property. And do not expect any customer service

Some additional needed

Tap in secondary shower does not work well.. it would be nice to have a table outside to eat at. It should be stated better if you want heat or not for the pool.. Curtains in the kitchen and living room would be nice to have.

In n Out

Clean and comfortable property. Communications with property managers were delayed. Never responded to text requesting further information. AC not allowed to be turned below 76 degrees. Too warm for sleeping. Pool and soaking tub too cold to really want to use. This should all be disclosed prior to renting. Pool waterfalls on image not functioning.(Minor)

Great potential

This is a spacious property, unfortunately, that’s about it. There is a lot of room for improvement in this property mostly surrounding general maintenance issues. As a fellow property host I take reviews seriously and I believe in reaching out to the host/property manager and giving them the opportunity to remedy or discuss any issues. I did email Vacasa through their help portal and did not receive a response other than that they would forward info to someone. When you first pull up to the property you are welcomed by an over grown yard. The front door has paint peeling paint and a hole in it. It’s always appreciated to have access to a washer and dryer during one’s travels. The laundry room here had a bad sewer gas smell that clouded the adjacent rooms and hallway. The smell usually appears after the shower has been used. All the furniture is from some kinda garage sale. Which isn’t necessarily a bad thing but most for the furniture it worn and feels like an after thought. Also it would be helpful if the host provided oven mitts. The pool here appears nice. We did see a pool service man during our stay, but the one time we did get into the pool there was visible dirt and sediment on the bottom that you would disturb when walking or swimming. Therefore, we didn’t use the pool or jacuzzi during our stay.

Palm Springs - yes, super hot in August.

This house was a great place to stay. Plenty of space, the pool is lovely, location great. In a quiet neighborhood (except very close to airport and directly under flight path). Could not hear airplanes while inside. Beds aren’t terribly comfortable, but it was fine. Kitchen well equipped. Would stay again.

A gorgeous retreat that has everything you need in the desert

I loved staying in this gorgeous, airy, spacious, delightfully decorated, and full amenity house. As I went to have some space to enjoy myself safely during this pandemic, I can't express enough that you only need groceries, and you will have the best time. The pool is beautiful and easy to spend hours in, and the grill became my go-to appliance for meals. My only issue came when I woke up to a broken ceramic side table next to lounge chairs facing the pool. I don't know if it's because it's the summer in the desert or proximity to the wind turbines, but it got windy at times - and there was this casualty, but I relayed to the property manager as soon as I saw it.

Nice place to stay

I'd recommend this home to anyone. It was clean, quite, and comfortable. Very nice stay. Location wasn't real close to downtown but has easy access to many tour sites. The beds were comfortable and sitting by the pool and fire pit was great. I have some recommendations though. A little attention to detail would help. In the master BR and bath: screws are missing on light sw wall plate, hand towel holder near outside door keeps falling off. Smaller BR: one gold colored lamp has a broken switch, Smaller Bath room actually missing the towel bar but the holders are there, shower floors are slippers, could use hand holds in baths. Kitchen: light in alcove to right of refrigerator flickers when room is dark, The book for helping guests: More detail to light fireplace and fire pit, I had to call to find out how todo that but also it was good that an igniter was provided, we had trouble getting us to understand how the TV worked but we finally figured it out. Please add how we would pay for a movie if we chose one of the options. We really enjoyed staying here it was much better than a hotrl/motel.

Excellent

We had a great time in this home. My kids throughly enjoyed swimming morning, noon, and night. We didn't realize we had to pro-arrange the warming of the pool. It was at 85 degrees and that was plenty for us Washingtonians. The spa would have been nice but we didn't care that much. The only thing I would add is curtains in the master bedroom. I need pitch black to sleep and the lights outside are on a timer. The ambient light didn't go off until way late at night. Curtains would have been nice but not a deal breaker. Would stay here again. Thanks for the great time!
