"Cabin was great for all except to things. The bunk beds are don't all have rails so the possibility of aomeone falling off is real. (We learned the hard way.) The other problem is thay the shower runs out of hot water very quickly. Other than that the place is great. If you have a large party make sure they gove you enough bedding. We were short some. Would go back back, though. "

"We traveled from Canada to attend a Viking lifesaving course and stayed here for the week. After flying all night and taking the train from Copenhagen, we arrived late and exhausted—but were warmly welcomed by the front desk staff. They greeted us with smiles, kindness, and understanding, and were both helpful and efficient throughout our stay. They offered great recommendations, including a nearby restaurant (Plates), where to do laundry, as well as information about the pool and self-service kitchen. Overall, it was an outstanding experience, and we are very grateful for the excellent service. "

"This is not a B and B..There was NO breakfast...and the "hotel" is next to a pig farm and smells terribly. There are flys everywhere, and I spent 30min killing flys in the room. That said- the room was inexpensive--so you get what you pay for. The room was not dirty--but It was not really clean. There were stains on the walls, draperies and on bedding. The towels are thin, well used and minimally absorbent. The pillows were equally flat and should be replaced. I would not walk without shoes in the room due to cleanliness. Overall I would NOT stay here again due to the pig farm smell, the flys and overall cleanliness. That said, it was quiet."

"The hosts are friendly! The house was spotless and cozy, making our stay incredibly comfortable. We especially enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and our morning walks by the lake—it was such a refreshing change from our city life. Such a great experience and a relaxing retreat. Highly recommended!!"

"Sødeste personale i cafe/reception/sportel. Dejligt sted med familien og den bedste svømmehal vi har været i, hvor de går meget op i renlighed og orden som kommer os alle sammen til gode. "Hestkaer Family Rooms is a fantastic family run place to stay with your young family. Only 20 minutes drive from Billund and the attractions, without having to pay the over inflated prices for staying next to Legoland! Spacious rooms allow you to spread out in comfort and the games and activities on site will keep the kids amused for hours. On site kitchen allows for preparing your own meals, thus saving a small fortune on eating out. There is also bbq’s available should you fancy grilling outdoors. Myself and my kids loved staying here and I can certainly recommend it."
