Small motel in Oliver, which is a good base to tour the lower Okanagen. Nothing much to look at from the road and rooms a little inelegant, but everything clean and practical, including a full kitchen if you need it. Convenient location for walking to the town centre.

Owner Treats like a family member. Everything calm and straight. I have been coming to this motel last 8 years. I bring my family all the time but it was a work related job. When we discuss in our family our code word is coconut. Because we can say Mountain View is older but inside like a cream as coconut has.

Cozy, comfortable, and quiet. Owner was attentive and welcoming. Easy walk to the Fire Hall Pub which was our destination for live music. Older building with some decent updates. We will stay there again. :)

One thing is, as soon as we walked in there was a horrible smelll, I’m not too sure if it was the a/c unit, but it was so bad that it made me nauseous the whole stay.

Clean and simple room. Staff were helpful and friendly. We just need to crash for a quick night before heading on, so we did and used very little. But nice and clean room with a very good mattress. AC was a lot quieter than most, which was excellent.
