"This is a one-of a kind old hotel in the center of Stenungsund, the rooms are small and quirky, not soundproof (you can hear snoring through the wall), but my room has a small balcony, a weird but fun bathroom sunken down a few steps, and the breakfast was great. It is tight with space, but cozy and old-fashioned Swedish way. I love it, but it will not be for people that want modern fancy. This is historical instead."

"From start to finish this was one of the most enjoyable places I’ve stayed in all of Europe Amazing quality and comfort Strolls along the river behind the building and the amazing food and bars that scatter along the river behind.. what a beautiful place! Notable mention for front of house Benjamin.. he was a hosts host and was exceptional .. all in all truly brilliant stay You have to stay here ‘ don’t take my words for it"

"I arrived by car and there is a 15min drop off just outside. Free parking can be found a few blocks away so no need to pay for parking. Room comfortable and clean with all you need. Wonderful buffet dinner included in the price and just like home cooking! breakfast also good value. Close to the centre and a short drive to the locks."

"Clean and tidy, beds are a little old but still comfortable. The area is very beautiful, especially the lake.The water pressure was the only issue we had, since it had been a dry season and the summerhouse has its own water bore.This was a really small issue though."

"Bed was super comfortable. Was sleeping like in a cloud. Inside and outside surroundings look very beautiful. Breakfast had a good quality and options variety. Excellent option for a stay. Huge recommendation!"
