I have stayed at this wonderful hotel many times since 11 years ago and it is the only hotel I would like to stay while in Trollhattan, Sweden. Friendly staff, quality room, with swimming pool and sauna, and wonderful breakfast. Cannot ask for more.

The location had nice rooms overlooking the water (not right on the water), the staff was excellent and so was the breakfast buffet. Only 1 towel in the room, though. Still excellent

Lovely stay

The staff was very helpful and friendly, the room was nice, the beds were comfortable and the breakfast was plentiful. The only problem we had was we used the parking service for the garage opposite and even though we paid, we got a fine, as we should have had a parking permit from the hotel, which the hotel didn't even know about. So don't use apcoa when you park up there. Otherwise the location is beautiful right near the canal and the food was really good in the restaurant.

From start to finish this was one of the most enjoyable places I’ve stayed in all of Europe Amazing quality and comfort Strolls along the river behind the building and the amazing food and bars that scatter along the river behind.. what a beautiful place! Notable mention for front of house Benjamin.. he was a hosts host and was exceptional .. all in all truly brilliant stay You have to stay here ‘ don’t take my words for it

Horrible bed and dirty!

When you book a room with a queen bed it’s no acceptable to get two singel beds pushed together with one large mattress on top. The two beds kept gliding apart the big mattress sagging in the middle. Shower room had stains on tiles and signs of black mold.

We broke a cup and was threatened with police inditment after we left. Wrote them a polite e-mail offering to pay the 1500SEK they demanded for the cup, no reply. Not a hotel we will visit again.

Personalet var hyggelige og hjelpsomme. Frokosten ble servert fra 06 til klokken 09.00. Dette ble noe tilfeldig for oss som liker Å ligge lenge om morgenen. Resturanten var stengt på torsdag kveld. Dette ble ikke opplyst ved ankomst eller på Plakat ved inngangen til restauranten.

Swania ligt gunstig aan de rand van het centrum en vlak aan het water. Het is een goed onderhouden hotel. Onze kamer was in een recent gerenoveerd deel en was uitstekend va kwaliteit. Het personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Parkeren is een beetje een uitdaging, want je moet een plekje in de straat vinden of de parkeergarage gebruiken (maar dat is wat kostbaarder). Al met al een charmant hotel op een leuke locatie in een gezellige stad

Meget langsom og besværlig indtjekning. Må kunne gøres hurtigere og mere enkelt. Parkeringsforhold er noget rod. Meget fin morgenmad. Meget fin terrasse. Store fine værelser. Dog absolut et minus, at vinduer ikke kan åbnes mere end 5 cm. Ingen ilt til værelset
