Holiday Inn Express & Suites Woodstock South by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"Very clean property. Reasonable prices for the level of clean. Would definitely stay again. The manager who works and runs the day time operations is very nice. The cleaning staff is prompt and efficient. If you request a garbage emptied or more towels they tend to it immediately. You can see the pride the staff take in a job that is often overlooked and never easy. The daily breakfast is very nice and organized and both ladies who ran it were very nice. Choices such as cinnamon buns, a cool pancake machine, bagel, toast, oatmeal, cereal, fruit, eggs, bacon and sausage. Juice choices and coffee or tea. The hotel offers a salt water pool with a cool waterslide. However the waterslide only operates when a lifeguard is there on weekend hours. So check the listing before you tell the kids! When the slide is closed it does not effect use of the pool at all. It was nice to have saltwater and not chlorine. Good parking out front and directly across from anything you may need. A walmart, gas bar, restaurants, dollar store etc. We were staying to visit the One of A Kind Antique Mall and that was fun. Overall a very nice stay and a lovely Holiday Inn."

Comfort Inn Brantford
8/10 Good
"It took us over an hour to find the hotel because it was hidden behind a restaurant that looked like it was shut down. Our room was clean, we had a working tv and I appreciated the iron and ironing board. Air conditioning worked great with no noise and the beds were comfortable. However, the shower made a horrendous squeal while it was being used and supplies in the bathroom weren't topped up. I would recommend this hotel as it's close to all the amenities."

Elm Hurst Inn & Spa
8/10 Good
"My husband and I had an overall relaxing stay. The staff were very friendly. The included breakfast buffet had a good selection of food including an omelette chef. (The bacon was a bit salty though.) The spa staff were knowledgeable and especially helpful with avoiding allergens like nuts and dairy. The Eminence products used in my facial smelled really nice! We booked a reservation at the hotel restaurant. There was a quite a long wait for our food at dinner. The waiter was nice though. Our room was comfortable except for two things: we found a large bug in the bathroom and the toilet was not flushing from the first night and was leaking from its base onto the floor. The in-room hot tub was great and the bed, bathrobe and slippers were cozy. The outdoor grounds were pretty but the walking trail was not well-maintained as there were branches constantly blocking the path which you had to physically move. The trail is about ten minutes and leads to a road. To get back to the hotel, you need to turn around and go back the way you came. There’s a McDonalds close by the hotel, but if you want to eat something else, you’ll have to drive to another nearby city like Woodstock. If you’re looking for a relaxing spa getaway in nature, you will probably enjoy Elm Hurst."
