Tälta Lodge, A Bluebird by Lark

"We truly enjoyed our stay at Tälta Lodge. Our room was basic and clean, which is all we needed. It was well priced for an overnight stay while sightseeing in Vermont. We especially loved the Lodge's amenities. The hot tub, although small, was never crowded. The cool pool and air-conditioned room were truly refreshing, as it was a very hot and humid day in Stowe. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Our only complaint is that our room was downstairs near the pool, and it was very noisy until about midnight - so bring earplugs."

"The hotel was easy to get to and looked very upscale - from the walkway to the lobby, to a grand staircase. The room was very comfortable for an unexpected trip to St. Johnsbury. The room was also spotless. My husband appreciated the buffet breakfast and that certainly made our stay easier. The only downside was that the elevators were not functioning."

"My husband and I have stayed at the Hampton Inn Colchester many times in the last two years. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. They try to change up their free breakfast each morning which is not too bad. We always use their indoor pool which is nice. My problem is that the hallways smell very musty to me. Maybe it's the carpeting. Some air fresheners are needed. And room doors slam at all hours of the night and early morning."

"We loved our time at the Von Trapp Family Lodge and would love to come back and spend more time in the future. It is a beautiful property with beautifully maintained buildings and grounds and gorgeous flowers throughout. The lovely antiques and family momentos made it a truly special stay for us. Our dinner in the dining room was delicious and our room and bed were comfy and quiet and perfect for our travels!"
