"First, i thought the property was difficult to find..it is not well marked and it is surrounded by other bldgs. The staff are beyond helpful & the checkin was flawless. The rooms are ample in size, and have good amenitites but the bathroom is dated. My only big complaint are the beds. Hard as rocks. I had a bad sleep. Breakfast was wonderful..they had everything. I would not likely return because of the beds.. if the beds were replaced i would absolutely return!"

"This was our first time staying at the Harbour View Inn on Mackinac Island and I have to say I would definitely make a return visit here again. From registration to check out, the staff was amazing, especially Larry. He was so kind to us and a pleasure to speak with during our stay. The first person at reception offered to keep our bags secure until we were able to check in at 4 pm. She even offered to take my phone number to call me if we were able to check-in early, which we were able to do. The hotel offered cool lemon water that was continually available in their lobby, along with cookies in the afternoon for their guests. The front veranda was one of my favourite experiences. The comfortable chairs and cool breeze allowed us to let time pass us by while we took in the beautiful views. We were able to rent bikes from the hotel which we did on several occasions and the prices were the most affordable on the island. The air conditioned room was well appointed with an amazingly, comfortable bed and walk in shower complete with L’Occitane products… je ne sais quoi magnifique. We had a partial view of the harbour off our balcony. The next morning we enjoyed a complimentary breakfast complete with croissants, French jam, hard boiled eggs, blueberry muffins, juice and coffee. The only complaint would be the price of the room, but I would pay that again for the service and hospitality that we received. Bravo 🙌 to Harbour View Inn. You get 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️"
Cabins of Mackinaw

"Our cabin was wonderful. For the most part the room was in good repair, but overall the property needs a little TLC as a whole. Our housekeeper, Trev, made sure the room was clean, and the front desk was helpful in providing recommendations for restaurants and getting to the ferry. Parking was a bit interesting in front of the cabins. Would stay here again, especially with kids (they enjoyed the floorplan)."
