"Nice spacious and comfortable room (room 5). Comfortable bed and bedding and enough tea, coffee etc and wardrobe space. The bathroom could do with a spruce up in places … the sealant in the shower is grubby and the paintwork is looking shabby. The room is quite light overnight due to a green light in the room itself and the landing lights being left on presumably for security reasons. Breakfast has always been excellent on previous stays but fell a bit short today. Poached eggs were hard and the omelette a little salty. The coffee wasn’t as good as previous stays either. This is one of our favourite hotels in the area and will still be a high choice for us … hopefully this stay was just a little blip."
