"The room was very nice and roomy but did have a bit of a musty smell upon arrival. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the fact that they offered breakfast was a nice touch. The biggest drawback really was the stairs. They are quite steep and difficult to maneuver with luggage. I saw another guest fall trying to navigate his luggage. I never would have gotten my big suitcase up the stairs by myself. I do have to say that the person at the front desk offered assistance if needed,...

"Great price for the room. The entire complex was clean, and the staff was more than friendly. I would definitely stay here again."

"I had a wonderful stay at the Beauport Hotel in Gloucester! The property is absolutely beautiful, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the waterfront views and sunets are simply breathtaking. The hotel has that perfect combination of elegance, comfort, and New England charm. The attention to detail, beautiful surroundings, and overall experience made my stay truly memorable. It's the kind of place where you can relax, unwind, and enjoy every moment. If you're visiting Gloucester and looking for a...

"Nice employees. Room a bit outdated, first thing we noticed was that the bathroom had a terrible smell but they quickly gave us another room. Breakfast was good, convenient location."

"Quiet stay. Rockport is such a friendly town. The hotel is only 15 minutes from the train station and from all shops. My only recommendation is having more breakfast options. Bagels and Oatmeal are the main choices. With some fruit and yogurt. Overall our stay was great!"

"Staff was great when they were there. Be aware, staff is only on site from 10:30am to 6pm. The parking lot has no lighting, and needs to be repaved. The steps leading up to check in were poorly lit. After 6pm, you have to use a code to enter the building, but there is no lighting above the door and the keypad is not backlit. If you check In after 6pm, your key with the room number is left in an envelope with your full name on it, in a basket, for anyone (with the code to the building) to...

"Hotel was super cute. In room fireplace was a nice touch. Bathroom had great with separate tub and shower. Upstairs neighbors walking was a little loud."

"A nice place to stay for our visit. We will definitely book here again in the future."

"Overall, good experience and helpful staff. Both beds were very uncomfortable. Both beds literally had dips in the middle. The tub had a “bulge” in the middle and looked as if something was underneath pushing it up. The pull up lane was not bright. One chandelier was completely out and one had burnt bulbs. The inside was clean and seemed to be very well taken care of. Again, overall was a good experience, but some improvements may help."

"Amazing!"

"Great stay!"
