The location is very convenient, and the property has been newly renovated. The interior is clean, modern, and stylish. The staff were friendly and even offered us vouchers for local activities, which was a lovely surprise. There were only two minor drawbacks. First, in our room type, all the bedrooms were upstairs while the only toilet was downstairs, which was a little inconvenient, especially at night. We had a very good stay made better by customer service getting us a shower mat for my husband who has trouble walking. They upgraded us to a higher floor which had a fantastic view. Top notch!

Just one night - everything was great. Great view, great service, great room. Everything works in that hotel, fires on all cylinders. Only negative was a bit of noise from the street later into the night.

I booked this hotel based on reviews only. I went to Yelp and Expedia for reviews before I booked it. The room they gave me is quite spacious. The bed is comfortable and clean. The bathroom, although the shampoo was not coming out of the bottle, when I messaged them if they could check it, they did within 30 minutes, also clean. The property seemed very new. Clean, bright, comfortable with nice extras— a free pass to the fitness center just a few yards away, free laundry services. The staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly. When we ordered a birthday breakfast for the room, the staff cam up singing ‘Happy Birthday’ with a piece of cake , candles and ice Cream. Ludi at the front desk was especially helpful. The food at the restaurant/room service was very very good.

We found our stay and the Maxim to be beyond a 5⭐️ experience. Staff was friendly, attentive, and super helpful. Facilities were immaculate.. Can’t say enough good things about the Maxim.

The newest hotel of the three in the chain at Sky City. Absolutely beautiful hotel. We saved the best for last. Accommodations were outstanding. Front desk stored on luggage on the last day b/c we had a late flight. Even offered us to use the workout facility to shower before we left for the airport-a first for me. The Grill Restaurant at the hotel food and service gets a 5 star rating. Ir is now my place to stay in Auckland.

This hotel had only opened three weeks earlier when I visited, but it was already operating smoothly.

This hotel was an absolute dream. It was a perfect combination of luxury and peace. I will absolutely be returning here. It was my birthday, and they were so sweet to me! Everything was clean, and we had a beautiful view, the food was delicious, we had a lovely time. Again, highly recommend.

Only stayed one night due to travel schedule. If my schedule was flexible I would have stayed longer. Great staff and rooms were very comfortable!! Will return when I have another chance.

I stayed at this hotel at the beginning of my trek around NZ, and liked it so much I cancelled the hotel at the end of my trip and booked this one again. Rooms are large and well decorated, bathrooms are huge. Location is ideal. Staff are super personable. It was my favorite hotel of my six ones I tried throughout the country.

We wish we stayed longer. The facility is close to the beach and we could use this. We wish it has more parking space
