"Wonderful, great location. Private cold and hot baths!"

"Clean and spacious room. Easy walk to Kyoto"

"The Thousand is a very modern hotel, located 5 minutes from the train station (big advantage). The rooms were big, clean and well equipped. Breakfast was rich and covered both Western and Eastern tastes. Overall, highly recommend this hotel"

"Love this place, very clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Location is also very good since its close to kyoto station which was a 15 minute walk. Thank you! I highly recommend this place"

"The buffet breakfast was 3500¥ per person. We both felt that was too much for what was offered. The ice cream session and wine/saki offerings all for free were a very nice touch!"

"The property was very quant. The rooms impeccable and spacious. Love the Toto toilets the staff has helpful, friendly and knowledgeable"

"駅近な上にラグジュアリーな雰囲気でとても良かったです。 スタッフの対応も大変きめ細かく丁寧でした。 次回もここに泊まりたいです！"

"The hotel is comfortable and pleasant. It is a 7 minute walk from the Kyoto station. When we arrived, the reception clerk was adamant that the 3-bed room we had booked was too small for 3 people and that we should absolutely pay for an upgrade to a slightly bigger room. Indeed, the room wasn't super spacious but it was OK. It was very strange however to arrive at a hotel and to be told that they sold us a room that couldn't accomodate as many people as advertised. The receptionnist was a bit too...

"Overall the hotel was good but one bar tender (male) was rude to my wife. Needless to say, this is uncommon but it did happen"

"Breakfast was excellent it's a good location for the travelers although it's an old hotel the amenities are good can stay also next time when I visit Kyoto"

"This was a business trip. However it is great when one can mix business with pleasure. This hotel is great for both. It was chosen because of location, a four minute walk to Kyoto Station, the facilities, especially the onsen (public baths), and room setup. My wife and I were extremely pleased with all of the proceeding. I have stayed in hotels in Kyoto at least a dozen times and this was the best hotel I have stayed in. Your budget will reflect the room sizes, but there is a good selection and...

"The staff at Almont Hotel Kyoto are exceptionally helpful and attentive. During my stay, they quickly provided me with a thermometer and swapped out the battery immediately when it ran out. After I got bitten three times by mosquitoes in my room, they promptly supplied both an electric mosquito repellent and a spray, which I really appreciated. I also appreciate that the hotel was able to coordinate before check-in so that I could stay in the same Standard Twin Room for all 5 nights...

"Large clean room, clean facilities and a large public bath for use on basement level with coin laundry which was convenient. Located approx 12 minute walk to local stations and Kyoto station."

"Beautiful hotel. On site onsen was very nice to have. Very close to the train station but still very peaceful sleep. Staff had very limited English speaking workers but we managed to get by."
