Hotel Riu Palace Costa Rica - All Inclusive

"Wonderful Stay at Riu Palace Costa Rica My husband and I had a fantastic time at Riu Palace Costa Rica. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly, accommodating, helpful, and welcoming. The service throughout the hotel was excellent. The food was delicious, and the dining service staff did an outstanding job. Everyone was attentive, pleasant, and made each meal enjoyable. Our room was cleaned very well every day, and the entire hotel was spotless and beautifully maintained. I understand the hotel will be closing for several months for renovations and upgrades. There were a few areas where you could see that some updating would be beneficial, but none of those things created any discomfort or negatively affected our stay. The pools were beautifully maintained and always clean and inviting. The beach was another highlight for me because I’m definitely a beach person! We were so pleased that there was no sargassum during our stay, and the sea was wonderfully warm and comfortable for swimming. That made the beach experience even more enjoyable and was a big part of why we loved our time there so much. What really made our vacation special was the people, the food, and the wonderful service. We truly enjoyed ourselves and felt well taken care of throughout our visit. I would definitely return to Riu Palace Costa Rica and would happily recommend it to others."

"Great staff, beautiful pool. Incredible food in the restaurant. But the elevator is broken (and apparently has been for months). Looks like they have no plans to fix it, since we noticed the staff storing cleaning supplies in it. We had to move to a first floor room (from the Nyuri Penthouse Suite) when my husband got into an accident in Costa Rica and could no longer use the stairs. Very disappointing that the management company doesn't consider this a priority."

"Everything was awesome. The only thing we didn’t like much was the food which was very standard. Also, when you buy the buffet, they include two alcoholic beverages, which brings the price up unnecessarily."

"Cute boutique hotel. Friendly staff and good breakfast. My room was a bit dark and outdated. I wanted an omelette for breakfast but I was told that it wasnt included. They should definitely put that on the menu for breakfast. Other than that I enjoyed my stay!"

"Property was very clean, and staff were very friendly. We had a great view of the ocean from our room. We did have an intruder (Racoon) enter our room through the balcony door and open the bar fridge and stole a bag of peanuts. We learned that we needed to keep our balcony door locked and not just closed! However, we will definitely go back! Food and drinks are a little pricey!"
