"Howard Johnson is one of the best hotels in Niagara Falls!
I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff were great, and everything in the room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.
Unfortunately, I had one disappointing experience on the night of October 25. Around 10:30 PM, I tried to get a bottle of water from the vending machine on the 5th floor, but the machine charged me without dispensing the water. I reported the issue to the front desk and purchased water from another vending machine on the 1st floor.
I was told that the vending machine on the 5th floor was old and not operated by the hotel. However, it was located inside the hotel, so I believe it should be properly maintained or clearly marked as out of service.
I also tried contacting the vending machine company several times, but unfortunately, I never received a response.
This was a small but frustrating issue during an otherwise excellent stay. I hope management will address it to prevent other guests from having the same experience.
I would still recommend this hotel and hope to visit again!"
