"It's a unique property and makes for an interesting place to stay.
Some spaces are awkward to access due to building shape and some low ceiling due to thatched roof, not a huge problem but makes it slightly more awkward carrying baggage to/from the room.
Ventilation was poor resulting in it being excessively hot on the 1st floor. I understand that the weather was the main factor but lack of AC in the room or even in the corridor, made for 1 of the most uncomfortable nights we have had. Staff did...
"It was adequate for our short stay. Bed was comfy and the breakfast good. Food in restaurant overpriced, for what was on offer and recieved. Some maintenance of the room we stayed in needed.

"The property is timber framed and old, really old. Cleanliness and condition is very good but this building needs constant maintenance. We loved it, it’s very old and full of history. Very cute little town, very nice surroundings. We hit it in the middle of a heat wave and there is no AC, in fact there’s likely no AC in most of the village but the normal temperature does not require it. We were just unlucky.
