"I didn’t. The bases were pretty covered. All the bases were recovered. If you needed anything, it was right on site. You didn’t have to leave. Everything was clean. The staff was awesome. And if you’re hungry, they had all kinds of little foods that you could eat. Overall, I give it a 10 out of 10."

"Room: fine. It was clean. We had a standard two queen beds. Size was good for 4 adults. But they gave us an accessible room and it had a barn door on the bathroom that kept getting stuck and one time my husband was stuck in the bathroom for a few minutes trying to get it to slide. Called the front desk and they sounded annoyed. But we were able to get it unstuck on our own. Hated that door! Staff: friendly. Except for the annoyed one. Breakfast: good. It was included so just your basic eggs, sausage, make your own waffles, toast etc. Parking: parking structure is attached. $30 for the one night stay and convenient. Proximity: fantastic! You can walk to everything in Salem. Just a 5-10 minute walk! This was worth it! Note:They also had a water filling station. Would stay again despite the hated barn door on the bathroom."

Lamie's Inn and The Old Salt Restaurant

"Staying at Laime's is a fun experience with the decor and The Old Salt inside the building. There are games, like checkers, set outside in the hallway to invite socializing. There is no elevator, so be prepared to go up a short flight of stairs if you are upstairs. The breakfast is mainly pastries and cereal but there is fruit and hard-boiled eggs. The rooms are quiet, clean and cozy."
