B&B Colori e Note provides an ideal base for Naples. The property's location is perfect for those looking to be within walking distance of the city's attractions while being slightly removed from the chaos and noise of the central district. Also the property is a convenient three-minute walk from the Materdei metro station. We never felt unsafe walking in the neighborhood, even in the evenings.
The room itself was clean and well-appointed with plentiful hot water in the shower. Every day the room was cleaned by the housekeeper, which was welcome after a day of sightseeing.
In addition to these attributes, the best reason for staying here is the owner, Gianni. He's upbeat and friendly and enjoys engaging with his guests. Since Gianni takes great pride in his property and city, he wants his guests to experience the best of Naples. Upon arrival, Gianni enthusiastically pointed out places of interest on a city map, including nearby restaurant recommendations. Fortunately, the city's best pizzeria, Starita, is a quick five-minute walk from the property. A highlight each morning was talking with Gianni in the breakfast room over delicious cakes, coffee, juice and yoghurt. Soccer, we learned, is his passion, and he fervently supports his hometown Napoli club. We learned many things about Naples and Italy from Gianni that enhanced our visit. He's a great ambassador. I cannot say enough about this accomodation and recommend it without hesitation.
