"A difficult place to find but we’ll located. Close to the lake and station. A traditional Japanese hotel well presented with helpful staff. We forwarded our cases to the hotel and on arrival we checked in and were escorted to our room where our cases stained us an a member of staff showed us round and explained everything to us."

"We had a wonderful time staying at the hotel. Hotel provided excellent breakfast, lunch and dinner, free welcome drink. The hot bath was wonderful with views of the river and forest. The room was beautifully decorated. We will definitely want to come back again next year!"

"The room was spacious, and the breakfast was delicious, though mainly Japanese with just some bread rolls, which may be limiting for those who prefer the Western style breakfast. There were separate onsen areas, one open to public and the other just for the hotel guests. The public bath was open only for limited times, and the amenities were minimal."

"A beautiful little inn that has two private Sento (baths) and jazz music playing throughout the day. The rooms were clean and quiet. I had a Japanese style room with a futon but Western rooms with beds are also available. Breakfast changed from Western style to Japanese each day; maybe you can request a specific meal type. The Keith Haring museum is just across the street and there were a few onsen and restaurants a short drive away."

"The staff was very helpful, I could leave my luggage at reception and they took it up to my room so it was ready for me when I checked in. There are four different baths public baths: main bath;outdoor bath, and two smaller ones which had different herbs in them. Breakfast was also very good.
Location is convenient for the train station and the lake.
Overall enjoyable stay."

"What a delightful stay at this fantastic hotel!!! Amazing location, superb rooms and views, delicious food, all perfect. Very local crowd that comes to rest and enjoy nature. Get up early, and go to bed early after a nice dinner at the hotel or restaurant nearby. We tried the French and enjoyed chatting with the Chef. Really nice evening. Families welcome as plenty to do in the Park.
Top visit and lovely hotel."
