"I am very pleased with my stay at this hotel. The hotel is clean and comfortable, and it's very close to convenience stores and restaurants. The staff are very friendly and helped us a lot. We used a luggage delivery service to send our bags to our next hotel, and the staff helped us communicate with the delivery company. Later, we lost some of our things and needed to contact one of the tour guides to get them back. I think this was outside the staff's responsibility, but one of them still helped us, and we are very very very grateful. Thanks to the staff, we solved our problem and continued our trip smoothly."

"Room was supposed to be a nonsmoking room but it smelled like someone had smoked in there before even with the room fragrance. Other than that, super convenient stay, quick check in, and luggage storage was super easy."

"The room is on the small side but we knew this and is absolutely fine for a city trip. We did feel we may have found a bit more storage space helpful. The room did smell a little damp but think that’s a consequence of not being able to open any windows and having air con. Breakfast is fine but wouldn’t rush to have it, although they did cater for my gluten free needs. The location of the hotel was also ideal for getting to all areas of the city. On the whole, the hotel was good and would recommend to friends coming to Tokyo."
APA Hotel Shinjuku Gyoemmae

"The location was convenient and the onsen was fine, but as others have said, the room was the typical Japanese business size - small. The check-in was manual and the older man next to me couldn't figure it out. They provide lots of written information in english - even allerting you to allow time for the crowded elevators at check-out. The hotel controls the room temperture and it got a little warm the last morning after the typhoon had passed and the sun popped out. All an all an ok hotel for Tokyo."
