"If your future plans include Portugal 🇵🇹, I highly recommend you stay at the Hotel da Baixa. The hotel is located in the city center, it’s easy to maneuver around, upon checking in, there is a two hour walking tour offered to all travelers at no cost. Eleanor was amazing during the tour around the neighborhood. Baixa is flat versus the hills you encounter in the older neighborhoods. All of my additional accommodations were reserved through the hotel which included two private tours to Fatima...

"Everything about our stay was excellent! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel room was artfully decorated, and bed very comfortable. The little extra touches were noticed and appreciated. Will definitely come back to stay and recommend to friends and family. Obrigada 💕"

"The area was a little sketchy but the hotel is so cute!"

"Very nice stay, the room was spacious and clean, close to multiple attractions."

"Excellent location and the staff were very accommodating & responsive. Beautiful way to stay in Lisbon."

"Awesome place to stay right in the Baixa Lisbon next to the big square. Lovely hotel and super convenient to every thing. Will stay again for sure."

"The hotel location is excellent and close to city center. room was well equipped, however it is very small. There is no space to open the bag or to lay the handbags. Even the closets were very tiny."

"Perfect spot for visiting Lisbon. I strongly recommand"

"Absolutely beautiful rooms, very friendly and professional staff."

"Clean room. Convenient location. Washer/dryer in the room is most appreciated. Iara who helped us to check in the apartment hotel is very helpful and friendly."

"Excellent location, only three mins from the metro and perfectly walkable to Alfama, Baixa, and Chiado. The staff are super attentive and helpful. Our room was extremely clean and fully furnished with a stove, dishwasher and washing machines which came in very handy during our six-day stay."

"Excellent location and absolutely stunning apartment. Very clean and boutique like. The only thing is no elevator, it was difficult for us because we had many big suitcases. But if you’re travelling light and want a comfortable stay in the city center this is an incredible property."

"Lovely stay in a great location. The daily bread delivery went perfect with the eggs we made. Wonderful fruits stocked daily in our lil kitchen. It had everything we needed. Like staying in an apt but reception downstairs for whatever we needed. The only downside is you have to close your windows at night or the noise will keep you up. My hubby likes to have the windows open but the trash pickup is in the middle of the night. Would still recommend and stay again."

"First time in Portugal, so we hadn’t heard of the Martinhal properties before booking the trip. We stayed in various areas but ended in Lisbon, where we stayed at Martinhal Chiado. The front staff was exceptionally welcoming and helpful, and even gave us a heads up about departing from LIS (itself a challenging experience). We were quickly introduced to the kids club, and were warmly welcomed there as well - the kids ended up loving it there and never wanted to leave! The rooms were very...

"We had a wonderful stay at our apartment and I would highly recommend anyone to stay here as well. The place was clean, comfortable, and looked exactly like the pictures. Everyone was so kind and helpful at the office location close by. They helped us store our luggage when we arrived early and also again when we checked out. They made sure our check-in went smoothly through email and when we arrived in person. They also included nice welcome gifts including a bottle of wine! The location was...

"Todo perfecto"

"Location is ideal. Close to tourist sites, restaurants, shops, transportation, but is on a quiet corner."
