"Great location, comfy room. The only issue I had was that I had no control of the thermostat in the room as it is controlled by the building. It was set to A/C and my room was freezing. I was given a space heater that worked well. I would recommend to the hotel to change this and give guests the option to control their own thermostat. "

Our room was ready early, we received a kind welcome gift, and even some flowers for International Women's Day! the Staff were very helpful with giving directions to various locations and suggesting restaurants. "My mom and I had a great stay at Hotel da Baixa during our trip to Lisbon. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They helped arrange transportation to and from the airport, which made our travel days much less stressful, and they were also very helpful with our luggage. One thing we really appreciated was how safe the hotel felt. The doors remain locked and there is staff available at the front desk 24 hours a day, which gave us peace of mind coming back in the evenings. The location was also ideal. We were able to walk to many attractions, shops, and restaurants around Lisbon, which made exploring the city very convenient. The only small thing to note is that because the hotel is located along a bus and tram route, Ubers can’t drop you off directly in front of the hotel. However, it’s only a short walk and didn’t impact our stay much. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay and would happily return the next time we’re in Lisbon. "
