"We had a lovely weekend with a few families. Kids loved the bunk room and the cottage was very cosy with the fire. The location by the river an close to Buller were exactly what we were after. Check-in went smoothly and we were able to get help easily when the gas for the hot water ran out. The problem was solved promptly."

"We had a group of 13 people stay here for 6 nights for our snow trip this year, and we had a great experience.The location is fantastic — this is probably one of the closest off-mountain properties you can get, only about a 5-minute drive to the Mount Buller entry gate.The kids absolutely loved the three baby goats and had so much fun playing with and feeding them.The owner, Melita, was extremely helpful, friendly and easy to reach. She always replied to messages very quickly. One of our friends accidentally left her phone at the house after we had already checked out and returned to Melbourne. I contacted Melita, and she promptly searched the house, found the phone, and even brought it back to Melbourne so my friend could collect it.We really appreciated her help and hospitality. Highly recommended, especially for families or larger groups planning a Mount Buller snow trip!"

"The property itself is so amazing — very well designed, the architect & interior designer must have outdone themselves with designing this place & its renovation. No problem with the heating/warmness at all & there are plenty of heating options & backups. That said, the booking with Wotif was very confusing as it did not say upfront that the payment must be directly handled with the property management only, & can’t really book via Wotif, hence got it at a higher price than it could have been; also communication with the accommodation management prior to the stay (when I had questions about the payment) was so patchy; even during the stay itself: hot water could run out (even after being told it wouldn’t be the case & ensured the setting for the water-heater booster was ON, of which was not explained in the welcome pack, but was only told when I happened to call them about something else), sometimes phone didn’t get answered even under somewhat “urgent” after-hours situation, & wifi password wasn’t shared by default (not in any emails), even though welcome/check-in email was received & had been checked plenty of times — on that note, check-in instructions could’ve been emailed earlier (eg 72 hrs prior) rather than 3 hrs prior to check-in time, to allow time for questions like this (about wifi or checkin plans, etc)."
