"The property has two parts, check in on the south side, breakfast on the north side. Plenty of parking. Most who stayed were just making a stop for Grand Canyon. The room was spacious. It is just an ok place to stay, but we occasionally found a couple of tiny roaches."

"The door deadbolt did not work so my husband had to sleep with his gun under the pillow, the man at the counter was only there to check us in. Every time we went to ask for towels or a plug for the bathtub or asking about the deadbolt not working he never came to the desk even after ringing the bell several times. Parking was odd with a big Yukon xl and it much room for other parking if we had had 2 cars like planned. I don’t think we will stay again just because of the crappy customer service. We will stay at other places in Kanab that have treated us better. We were basically on our own from the moment we checked in. I couldn’t bath my baby since the tub had no plug. Disappointed"

"Cool historic place in the middle of town. A nice shaded property to escape the sun. Had issues getting thru to front desk to inform them of late check-in, though keys were left in the box for us. The call center we were directed to when trying to inform them of our tardiness was awful to deal with and not helpful at all."

"This was my 'base camp' for a road trip to the Grand Canyon area. The town of Kanab is a brilliant little location with lots of character and access to many hiking, biking and ATV activities. The Canyons hotel was a perfect fit for me. Great off-road parking, clean rooms with all the amenities (coffee, AC, TV, Wi-Fi...etc.) The staff were extremely polite and welcoming and the breakfast service was always prompt and well presented. Pretty much the only downside for me was the repetitive breakfast menu; It would have been nice to have a choice of toast or cereal with the offerings. For the price, it would be hard to match the excellent facilities that Canyons offers. I would return in a heartbeat."

"The staff at Aikens/Best Western were helpful and the breakfast was great to start the day. The pool and hot tub area were nice. I didn’t realize when booking that Aikens is run by the Best Western about a half block away, so I was a bit stressed until I realized I needed to check in there and walk down there to utilize amenities. The room was small, but clean and we slept comfortably in the bed. It was a good stay for a good price."

"Positives: Nice hotel. Rooms open to the outside. Clean. Comfortable beds. Nice staff, very helpful and outgoing. Not as modern as some of the newer hotels, but recently renovated. Nice sundries. Didn’t get the chance to use the pool or hot tub but they were functional and other guests appeared to be having a good time. Very close to several restaurants so you can walk to them. Breakfast was a typical hotel breakfast. Really grateful that they provided non-dairy milk for people who can’t drink milk. Negatives: more comfortable pillows would be nice. Also, the older building does vibrate a good bit when guests on the second floor walk around. Thinner walls as well. But it’s a quiet town with a lot of tourists who were pretty quiet so it wasn’t a problem. Overall we would stay there again if the price was right. We recommend this hotel."
