The overall vibe of this place was cool.....but.....there were a few issues. In order to check in and out you have to walk or drive down the block to the Best Western. You also have to go there for breakfast. The room was sooo clean. However, the windows were old crank style and did not keep the noise out. The AC unit did not work great. I likely would not stay here again.

The carpet had large dark spots ( room 32). And there was a smell of chemicals. Also I paid extra for 2 queen side beds but I think it was double beds. Which is OK for 2 of us but I should not pay extra.

The place was very cute in a route 66 motif and updated, the pool was half block away at another hotel affiliated with them but it was nice and the breakfast there was good as well. It was a lovely night's stay

This hotel is an older motor court, but such a nice place. Room was clean, lots of nice touches we didn’t need , like moisturizing lotion, shower had Shampoo , conditioner, body wash … microwave and a decent sized fridge. We stayed for 5 nights while up hunting, no lobbies, in and out super ez with our hours. TVs had Roku sticks, so plenty of dumb entertainment in the evening . Hidden gem. Beds were great too.

What a great cute motel to stay at. We actually started our trip in Vegas, and this was a more comfortable room to be in. It was very cute and in such a great little town. I would recommend anyone to stay here!

Front desk staff very friendly. The pool at the lodge it's not working, but they have a sister property next door at the Best Western that is available for use. Very cute decoration scheme, retro 50s. Will definitely stay there again.

Very large rooms with lamps - some motels do not have lamps, it is annoying. Best little refrigerator we've ever had in a motel. Super comfy bed. Great a/c - just a little high on the wall, so I was glad I was with a taller person. Seats and a little table outside every room - that is a bonus. They've combined their office with the BW next door for some reason, but very short walk and helpful staff. We had access to the BW pool and their breakfast which was excellent - yes they have the waffle machine. We will stay again.

The Aikens feels neglected. There’s no onsite staff you’ll be greeted by a closed sign on the office door directing you to another hotel to check-in. The pool is closed due to leaking per the hotel. The rooms are tired and poorly cleaned. The shower was moldy and the single sink would back up and not drain. Worst of all the AC was set to 70 degrees and decided to stop blowing around 3:30 AM causing the room to heat up and feel stagnant. Notice the front door has zero weatherstripping allowing hot air from outside to seep in quickly. What used to be a fun vintage hotel, is now an old worn down tired property in need of staff, upkeep and better cleaning. The hotel inspector would have lost her mind. We won’t be back.

There were no staff onsite. You had to go to the Best Western to check in. No amenities on site either. The pool and breakfast were at the Best Western as well. The grounds are a disaster. The AC in the room didn’t work properly. It was so hot. I would not recommend. The room was clean for an older facility which was the only good thing.

The room was very well appointed and clean. It all looked newly refurbished. The location is also very convenient. A great coffee spot, restaurants and other shops are almost right next door. We could only stay one night but we’ll definitely stay longer the next time we visit Kanab.

I make a point out of staying here. VERY ECONOMICAL. well placed as a base for daytrips to the various national parks in the area. Excellant breakfast provided at their sister Best Western motel. The front desk lady was very helpful with my early checkin.

This was our second stay at this classic motor court, which we love to visit on road trips. Unfortunately, it was much hotter than on our last visit and the sun blasted in the large front window; yes there were curtains, but the A/C to combat the heat was crazy loud. As in TV volume: 4 without the A/C: 47 with the A/C, no exaggeration. As before, guests head to the sister property down the street for breakfast, which seems odd but works; the pool there was available to Aikens guests. Plenty of parking and a decent breakfast. Only interaction with staff was checking in and out at the sister property.

The room was clean and it was great that there were three bedrooms to fit our family, for a great price! As far as what could be improved, you could tell that it was dated and the blinds definitely need to be fixed in the rooms. Also, the main room cooler didn’t work, so the room was hot all night, and it was a little weird that we had to go to Best Western down the street to check in, swim, and eat breakfast. Overall it was a good experience.

WE liked the ground floor, 2 very comfortable beds, plenty of towels, nice quiet room. Potty room was a little small but okay. check in & pool and breakfast were great but a little confusing since we didn't know directions . Loved the little town.
