"Very walkable location. Comfortable beds. We walked everywhere… nearby restaurants, pharmacy, grocery store, even a doctor visit to check my ears after scuba diving trouble, The bar there that serves food isn’t great though. Pizza is like cardboard and one night we had like a comedy of service mistakes. Still, a great place overall."

"Our stay at Hotel Kaveka was absolutely amazing. The beachfront bungalow-style villa was just steps from the water and only a short walk to the hotel restaurant. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home throughout our stay. The hotel was worth every dollar spent, and my wife and I enjoyed some of the most beautiful sunsets we’ve seen in a long time right from the beach. "Location was amazing. So peaceful, quiet, and serene. Viewed sunset from deck chairs of our room. Small facility so beach walks not crowded with lots of tourists. Room a little small but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious - all so fresh. Secured parking on site. Only suggestion is to make guard gate electronic so aren’t required to get out of car to enter code. "

"This resort is so picturesque and cute - very instagrammable. The rooms are so unique and you feel like you’re walking into a travellers personal collection of collectables. I found myself just mesmerised looking at all the items on the bookshelves. Our room was beautiful- literally felt like art. The water is lovely to swim in right at the dock. "The deluxe bungalow was so nice inside with all the modern conveniences but had a thatched roof giving you an authentic Polynesian experience. The bed and linens were very comfortable and the bathroom had 2 beautiful sinks and walk in shower. The kitchenette was an added plus! The pool was wonderful and ocean view and beach were beautiful. The on site Sunset Grill was convenient but we only had 1 dinner there since there are plenty of local restaurants nearby. We would definitely stay here again...

"First of all, Moorea is beautiful!! Very quiet, not crowded and very peaceful. NIU Beach Resort has very upscale beach bungalows steps from the water. We snorkeled from the beach - super clear and lots of coral. We also kayaked daily which was very fun. The bungalow is perfectly equipped - very thoughtful and beautiful. Only breakfast is available to purchase on-site, but restaurants and small groceries are bikeable (bikes provided for free) or walkable. Perfect for adult travelers!"

Snorkelling right from your private beach yields coral and tropical fish from the shore. A couple of downsides: there are no staples like sugar, coffee, salt, etc in the kitchen; there is no comfortable chair so you either sit on the bed or you are upright at the table; the reception is only there for assistance for an hour or so...
